From Lenny 05-13-2016 Efrat's Last Challenge
All whom have met Efrat know she was very special.
From the moment I first met her I immediately knew she was one in a million and that I would never in my life meet anyone like her. Time has proved how right I was. As she aged her sweetness only grew. She courageously and nobly went through dozens of major surgeries (total spinal fusion at 13yrs of age in Israel, 8 total hip replacements, heart valve replacement... etc... ) I will never forget the day in Houston just before she passed away - when the doctor explained that it would be best to schedule the very-major surgery she always knew she would have to have at some point. It was not an emergency but just time to do it. --- Without flinching... without fear... with absolute firm confidence... with the courage of an Angel... she quickly said "Lets do it." It's as if she was at a point in/of her Being that she was Master of her Life and able to deal with anything. Time to move on to more challenges. Rest in peace my Love. (or should I say "My Love will always be with You as You continue to explore all Your infinite potentials in this vast multiverse... I will never forget You.")

From Lenny 03-06-17 Our Last Meal Together
The last night in Houston we had Chinese (of course!) We were splitting a dish. Efrat NEVER ordered anything with green veggies (due to her INR). It was so so weird... she wanted this green-been dish!... I said what!?!? She said "What the heck.. I want it!" This was so strange (she never wavered in her convictions and disciplines). Also.. when the check came she insisted on paying it (This was really weird.. since I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS paid for her)... I insisted (and "won"). Next morning we drove back to Austin and that was the last time I saw her.
